With more than two decades of experience in finance, business strategy, and corporate leadership, Alex brings a unique commercial perspective to content creation. His background in financial management, business operations, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement enables him to bridge the gap between creative storytelling and sustainable business execution.
Driven by a passion for meaningful stories, Alex founded Spectra Vault with the vision of producing distinctive content that combines compelling narratives with strong production values while remaining commercially viable for broadcasters, streaming platforms, brands, and international partners.
Under his leadership, Spectra Vault is developing an expanding slate of original productions, including scripted drama series, factual entertainment, and documentary projects. The company actively collaborates with broadcasters, government agencies, corporate partners, and international co-production partners to create content with both regional and global appeal.
Alex also leads the company’s strategic development, investment partnerships, sponsorship initiatives, business negotiations, and production planning. Soma Chan is the Co-Founder and Director of Spectra Vault Production House Pte. Ltd., where he leads the creative vision and visual storytelling behind the company’s original productions. A filmmaker with a passion for cinematic storytelling, Soma has spent years developing projects across short films, documentaries, branded content, corporate productions, digital media, and original intellectual properties.
Driven by the belief that every story deserves to be told with purpose and authenticity, Soma combines strong visual aesthetics with emotionally engaging narratives. His directing style emphasizes thoughtful composition, compelling performances, and meticulous attention to detail, creating productions that resonate with audiences while maintaining high production standards.
Beyond directing, Soma actively explores filmmaking techniques, creative workflows, and visual experimentation through educational and behind-the-scenes content under the Reel Sketch initiative, sharing insights into filmmaking, cinematography, directing, and the creative process with aspiring filmmakers and content creators.
At Spectra Vault, Soma oversees every stage of creative production—from concept development and script interpretation to directing on set and supervising post-production.
